Bachelor of Business Administration

A Bachelor Degree in Business Administration: In today's world which is highly connected, business opportunities are growing at a very fast rate. B.B.A Course is designed to provide basic understanding about Management education and to train the students in communication skills effectively, with inculcate entrepreneurship skills. Eligibility Criteria : Any candidate who has passed HSC(10 + 2) exam from any stream with English as passing subject and secured minimum 45% marks at 12 std.

Course Duration:

  • The course duration of BBA is three years.
  • The course is based on semester system and each semester is of 6 months.

Subjects of study: Some of the common subjects studied would be Principles of Management, Principles of Economics (Micro & Macro Economics),Principles and Practice of Accountancy, Business Mathematics, Forms of Business Organization, Growth and Structure of Industries, Computer Application in Management, Human Resources Management, Marketing Management, Financial Management, Business Statistics, Managerial Economics, Manufacturing And Materials Management, Entrepreneurship and Project Management, Cost and Management Accountancy, Taxation.

Career Options: The better choice after BBA is opting for post graduation - an MBA. Having a prior knowledge of different aspects of management, BBA graduates often find it easier to crack MBA entrance exams, as compared to commerce graduates. After which you will start off as an executive or assistant manager in any of the business organizations, manufacturing companies, export or trading houses, financial concerns, banks, or multinational corporations.

After completing your BBA program, you also have the option of joining as a Management Trainee/Executive Trainee in any of the following sectors:

  • Consultancy
  • Finance
  • FMCG and Consumer Durable companies

  • Advertising agencies.
